BMRC participates in Corfo’s 7th Meeting of Technology Programs and Consortia

On January 8, representatives from the Clinical-Molecular Biomedicine Consortium (BMRC) took part in the 7th Meeting of Technology Programs and Consortia, an event organized by Corfo. The meeting brought together technology programs and consortia from across the country with the aim of sharing progress, reviewing results from the previous cycle, and identifying common challenges related to technology adoption, governance, collaboration with suppliers, and scaling up.

The meeting was attended by Macarena Aljaro, Director of Technology Programs and Consortia at Corfo, and Rosana Rodríguez, Program Officer at the same institution, who led analysis and discussion sessions aimed at strengthening the productive impact and sustainability of these support instruments.

Representing BMRC were Rebeca Ibacache, General Manager of BMRC, and Dr. Susan Bueno, Alternate Director of the BMRC Consortium and Full Professor at Universidad Católica. Also attending were Dr. Pablo González, Director of one of the projects supported by BMRC and Full Professor at Universidad Católica, and Jorge Mora, a specialist in technology transfer and management. Their participation provided an opportunity to share the consortium’s experience and engage in dialogue on current challenges in technology transfer, public-private collaboration, and the translation of scientific outcomes into practical applications.
