The Clinical-Molecular Biomedicine Consortium (BMRC) had a prominent participation in a meeting organized by ForoInnovación together with the Chamber of Pharmaceutical Innovation, the Avonni Awards, and Mentores por Chile, event that brought together representatives from academia, industry, the health sector, and the innovation ecosystem to address the main health challenges faced by Chile and the world.
The session was led by Dr. Alexis Kalergis, Director of ForoInnovación and Full Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, who presented a perspective on the strategic role of science in the country’s development and the need to strengthen collaboration among research, industry, innovation, and health to generate high-impact solutions. The activity also included the participation of Dr. Susan Bueno, Dr. Pablo González, Dr. Hernán Peñaloza, and BMRC-affiliated students, reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to science that is connected to the country’s challenges and to the transfer of knowledge to the people.
